The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Seoul participated on 5 - 6 May 2012 at the traditional Seoul Friedship Fair 2012 organized by the Seoul City Goverment at Seoul Plaza and the Mugyodong-gil area. The two-day festival featured perfomances from several different countries, an international school children´s exhibition, a world food and drink court, a traditional folk exhibition and many street events. The Czech Embassy in cooperation with local korean companies like the Castle Praha, Core Liquer, SABMiller, Vesela Trading and BMC showed in two different stands traditional Czech sausages, beer, crystal and glass products. The publishing house Happy Reading presented Czech author´s books translated in Korean. With the help of local office of CzechTourism the Czech Republic was presented as an attractive tourist destination. This popular international festival during the weekend visited over a hundred thousand people.
