SEOUL – African photographs by Czech Liba Taylor on an exhibition at KOICA

Selection of photographs of children made on African continent by Czech photographer Liba Taylor in the last decade is now on show at Global Village of Korea International Coopertion Agency.

Joint exhibition of African arts and crafts and photographs by London-based Czech photographer Liba Taylor (www.libataylor.eu) and Tanzania-based Korean photographer Lee Jongryul is on show at Seoul´s Global Village of Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) under the joint title „Africa, Africa, Africa! Wonderful, Painful and Joyful“ until the second half of January 2011. Liba Taylor´s part of the whole exhihibiton jointly sponsored by African Art Museum, Yeongwol, Korean Commitee for UNICEF and Korea-Africa Association was officially launched on December 2, 2011 by Amb. Rhee Byung-kook, Vicepresident of KOICA and Amb. Vítězslav Grepl, Director General for Asia, Africa, the Americas and the Development Cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic. Among the VIP guests were Ms. Park Dong-Eun, Executive Director, UNICEF Korea, Professor Kim Yoon-Jin, Africa expert and Dean of Center for International Area Studies, Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (HUFS) and Mr. Choi Dal-seok, Secretary General of Korea-Africa Association.
This exhibition is the third one of Liba Taylor´s photos in the Republic of Korea, it was co-organized by Amb. Cho Myong-haing, Director of African Art Museum at Yeongwol, and Mrs. Lee Eun-Sook, Director of KOICA´s Global Village with a support of H.E. Mr. Jaroslav Olša, jr., Ambassador of the Czech Republic to the Republic of Korea.
