The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic issued a statement on the rocket launch by the DPRK on April 13, 2012. Following is an unofficial translation of a statement:

"Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic is deeply concerned with the North Korean rocket launch on April 13, 2012.

Such an act is in breech with the DPRK´s international obligations and the United Nations Security Council Resolution 1718, and increases tensions in the region.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic urges the DPRK to comply immediately with all international obligations and the respective UN resolutions.
