All 35 countries including the Czech Republic joined together to present their cultural heritage. Jeju World Cup Stadium thus became an international stage decorated with symbols and colours of exhibiting countries. Mostly Asian countries were represented as well as some further EU members such as Slovakia, Hungary and Romania. Presentation of the Czech Republic was provided by the Embassy of the Czech Republic to the Republic of Korea and by local CzechTourism representation.

The fair was divided into three program areas – the exhibition program, food stalls with traditional dishes of each country, and traditional folk performances. The EXPO enabled visitors to watch, feel and taste other countries' culture without having to leave the Korean Peninsula. Opening ceremony was also attended by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Korea Han Seung-soo, who on this occasion recalled the importance of cooperation and understanding across countries. Moreover, the Prime Minister highlighted the importance of cultural and tourist exchanges.
