GIMHAE – Walking in Prague festival at Inje University

Two weeks long festival Walking in Prague took place at Kim Haksu Memorial Museum of Inje University, Gimhae in the second half of April 2010.

Walking in Prague festival was officially opened by Jaroslav Olša, jr., Ambassador of the Czech Republic to the Republic of Korea on April 16, 2010. It is hosted by Inje University´s Kim Haksu Memorial Museum and consists of film shows and exhibitions „Story of Czech-Korean Contacts“, „Czech Best“ and photographic exhibition „Woman and the City“ by Jiří Turek. There was also a small exhibition of Czech-related books in Korean selected from university´s library.

The main organizer behind these meaningful and very succesful presentation was prof. Park Jae-Sup, who also organized meetings of Ambassador Olša, jr. with the son of the Inje University founder Mr. Paik Nak-Whan, university´s vicepresident prof. Lee Jin Ae and visited the newest hospital in the region, Haeundae Paik Hospital. Ambassador also planted a tree in front of the Kim Haksu Memorial Museum.
