Delegation of Committee of Defense of the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Parliament visits the Republic of Korea

First Vice President of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, Mrs. Jaroslava Jermanová, made an official visit to the Republic of Korea 21 – 26 September 2014.
With delegation of the Committee of Defense she met the Speaker of the National assembly of the Republic of Korea. Mr. Chung Ui hwa and discussed the successful development of bilateral relations. Both countries are important partners in political, economic and cultural fields. Mrs. Jermanová also stressed the importance of parliamentarian diplomacy.
The delegation held fruitful discussions with counterparts at Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Unification of the Republic of Korean. It visited Defense Expo 2014 in Kintex, Demilitarization Zone and officially opened the exhibition “Prague Castle in photos” at ASAN institute of political studies.
