DAEGU – two Czech photographers at prestiguos international exhibition

14th International Exhibition for Young Photographers held at the margins of the biggest Far Eastern photo event, Daegu Photo Biennale 2010, presents also works by two young Czechwomen photographers. Curator Walter Bergmoser has selected and invited Barbora Bálková and Tereza Příhodová to take part in this prestiguous event.

Series of works by two young Czech photographers, Barbora Bálková (www.barborabalkova.cz), and Tereza Příhodová of Prague´s Film Academy (FAMU), are part of the 14thInternational Young Photographers Exhibition held at Bongsan Culture Center at Daegu. This large-scale international exhibition shows works by three dozens of artists from 8 countries, who present their works under the title Hidden Sense, The exhibition was officially opened by Mr. Gang Wee-Won, chariman of Daegu Photo Biennale exhibition committee with the presence of Ambassador of the Czech Republic to the Republic of Korea H. E. Mr. Jaroslav Olša, jr. It will be opened for public until October 24, 2010.

Hidden Sense exhibition is part of 30+ photographic events held at Daegu during October 2010 on the margins of Daegu Photo Biennale, which opened on October 1, 2010 under the title true(E)motions. With some 1,500 photographs from 22 countries it is the biggest photo event in the Far East.
