On May 17, 2010 a joint exhibition of Czech fashion and glamour photographer Jiří Turek and the selection of the best photos from two different years of Czech Press Photo competition has been officially opened at Kyugbook National University Art Museum (www.knu.ac.kr) in Daegu. This time it was Mr. Michael Wellner Pospíšil, Director General of Czech Centers, who unveiled the exhibition at presence of Prof. Kim Kyum-Im, Director of Kyungbook National University Art Museum.

Czech Press Photo competition was created in 1995 and soon established itself as the leading such competition in Central Europe. Jiří Turek is among the most succesful Czech fashion and glamour photographers. He had photographed leading Czech celebrities, as well as Luciano Pavarotti and many international stars. His often black-and-white photographs are an untypical description of well-known topics.
