Award for 43th Lidice Arts Exhibition

 On 2 February 2016, Ambassador Tomáš Husák granted the awards on 43th Lidice Art Exhibition to two Korean children in the Embassy in Seoul. 

 

 On 2 February 2016, Ambassador Tomáš Husák granted the awards on 43th Lidice Art Exhibition to two Korean children in the Embassy in Seoul. The International Children’s Exhibition of Fine Arts Lidice, which was established in 1967 to commemorate the child victims murdered by Nazis, from the Czech village, became known all over the world and with cooperation of Czech Embassies abroad, 2.5 millions of entries submit their art works to the exhibition in recent years.

  In Korea, Choi Ji-Hoo, from Art Myself Academy, Kim Do-Hyun, from Hong SeonSaeng Art and other 8 students from Busan Middle School of Arts won the prizes in last year’s exhibition. And the two of them, Choi Ji-Hoo and Kim Do-Hyun, and their parents and teachers and Korean Art Education Association visited Czech Embassy in Seoul and were granted certificates by Ambassador. Also they have received small gifts such as photobooks of Prague and sketchbooks with Czech popular character.
