Motionlab from the Czech Republic was selected to participate in international K-Startup Grand Challenge in Korea as top 60 out of 2600 companies from 151 countries worldwide. Motionlab is a company behind video-personalization platform, now supported directly by Korean government to expand to Asia.

„The fact we were selected to participate in the challenge is a huge success, we will do our best to take advantage of this opportunity.“ says Radek Pšurný, co-founder of Motionlab. He is leading the Korean branch together with Jindřich Richter. The grand prize of K-startup Grand Challenge is 120 000 USD.

Motionlab creates video-commercials that viewers want to watch thanks to video personalization. Motionlab was awarded by many startup and marketing awards for the technology. Motionlab from the Czech Republic is used by brands like HBO, KB, ČSOB, Česká spořitelna, ČEZ, Microsoft, Alza, O2, Notino, UNIQA and Home Credit.

Startup emerged from co-operation of three co-founders from Brno. Taking advantage of former career in Microsoft, Jan Sekerka (CEO) brought his experience with innovative technologies to Filip Koubek and Radek Pšurný into the world of video advertising. Motionlab found it’s place in the diverse European background with variety of languages and strict security standards related to data privacy protection. Competitive advantage for a foreign expansion comes also from experiences with complex Czech language, where personalized advertising campaigns deal with different forms of names in (not only) vocative and use of different verbs for male and female audience.
