
Deputy Foreign Minister Martin Dvořák had talks with Mayor of Busan Park Heong-joon

On October 17, Deputy Foreign Minister Martin Dvořák had talks with Mayor of Busan Park Heong-joon to discuss exchanges and cooperation between Czechia and Busan, and promised to support Busan’s bid to host the 2030 World Expo.
Appreciating the Czechia-Korea cooperation which has been active for more than 30 years since the establishment of the two countries’ diplomatic ties in 1990, Mayor Park said that he hopes the opening of the Honorary Consulate of the Czech Republic in Busan would lead to further economic cooperation and cultural exchanges between Busan and Czechia.
Deputy Minister Dvořák also expressed high expectations for cooperation with Busan, saying that he hopes more cooperation in various fields such as nuclear power plants, renewable energy industry and digital new technology.
They also talked about the 2030 Busan World Expo, which aims to present the common value and vision for humanity as well as the future technology, and once again showed his support for Busan.
