Experience a moment of tranquility amidst the hustle and bustle of downtown Seoul with our latest exhibition, "Pause For Art: Czech Culture Break" now open at 172G Gallery.
Presented in collaboration with the Czech Embassy and the Czech Center Seoul, the exhibition "Pause For Art: Czech Culture Break" brings together contemporary artworks by Czech painter Lucie Jindrák Skřívánková, alongside the Czech Center's "Czech Composers" Exhibition and selections from the works of Franz Kafka.
Ambassador Ivan Jančárek remarked at the opening ceremony on July 9th, "To combine these themes is not a pure coincidence but a reflection of what's happening in the Czech cultural scene."
Czech Center Seoul Director Michal Emanovský said, “We hosted this exhibition for the Korean public to paus for a minute and enjoy art amid the busy day and earn new inspirations and enthusiasm,” adding, “Since the gallery is easy to access as it is in the premise of the station, anyone can feel free to visit and explore the Czech art and culture.”
Join us in contemplating these beautiful artworks amidst your busy schedule, and take a moment to appreciate the tranquil "comma" of this exhibition.
Dates: July 8 (Mon) - July 19 (Fri), 2024
