The Czech Centre Seoul has opened a new exhibition

The Czech Centre Seoul has opened a new outdoor exhibition "Handmade Dreams," which introduces the historic Czech glass craft and fashion jewelry.
 

Czech fashion jewelry and glass crafts have a long history. B.C. 300-100 Celtic bracelets and necklaces are known as the first glass jewelry. First exported to neighboring countries from the 13th century, the Czech jewelry and glass crafts gained international fame from the 19th and 20th centuries. Especially, the northern Bohemian region, a.k.a Crystall Valley, has grown into the hub of glass art and Jablonec nad Nisou is among all the major pillar of Czech glass work industry.

 

The Czech Centre Seoul has opened a new outdoor exhibition "Handmade Dreams," which introduces the historic Czech glass craft and fashion jewelry. You can enjoy the beautiful Czech artifacts that embrace both traditional and modern taste. The exhibition includes the designs of students who participated in the Master of Crystal Competition. Discover the rich traditions, successful present, and promising future of Czechia's art through the exhibition. The exhibition runs until the end of this year.
