The fabulous Severáček choir has brought its enchanting melodies to Korea once again.
With a rich history dating back to 1958, the choir has a high reputation with its performance, clinching numerous awards in competitions across European countries. It travels the world to deliver its beautiful voice and serves as a cultural delegation of the Czech Republic.
Led by conductor Silvie Langrová, 30 talented young choir members landed in Korea on Oct. 24th. Korea has become like a second home for Severáček, marking their 8th visit here. This year, their journey will take them on a nationwide tour, making stops in Paju, Hampyeong, Busan, Geoje, and Seoul.
Ambassador Ivan Jančárek, along with his wife, Mrs. Andrea Jančárková, and Deputy Head of Mission Jana Cimbolincová, were treated to the first performance of this year's tour at the Solgaram Art Hall in Paju. Impressed by the choir's musical talent, they offered their warm praise and good wishes for a successful tour.
