Artifacts associated with Lee Hoe-yeong and objects related to the armed anti-Japanese movement are on display in the hall. The main part of the exhibition, a total of 24 exhibits, consists of objects connected with Czechoslovak legionaries, who played an important role in the Korean independence movement. The Czechoslovak Legionnaire Community lent these exhibits free of chargé.

Gustav Slamečka was invited to the event by the Seoul Metropolitan Government. After the opening ceremony, the Czech ambassador symbolically handed over one of the Czechoslovak legionaries‘ rifle to mayor Oh Se-hoon, who handed it over to soldiers dressed in the historical uniforms of the Korean Liberation Army. At the end, a tour of the hall took place, in which Czech artifacts completely dominated. In addition to items from the Czechoslovak Legionnaire Community, there was also a book donated by the embassy "150 Hidden Ties Between Koreans and Czechs", every visitor has the chance to read it. 

The name of the Czechoslovak legions and Czechoslovakia at the opening ceremony resonated significantly in front of important representatives of the state administration, the city, the public and the media. The main credit for spreading the good reputation of our state belongs to the Czechoslovak Legionnaire Community, to which the Czech Embassy is thanking and looking forward to further future cooperation.
