EU: United in Diversity

The European Union (EU)  is a unique community of states that created long-lasting peace in Europe. Having started with six countries as the European Coal and Steel Community (ECSC) in 1952, it has grown to have 446 million EU citizens from 27 member states. EU has given us prosperity with the multilevel cooperation in economy, culture, security and foreign affairs.

The "EU-United in Diversity" project connects young students from the Ladislav Sutnar Faculty of Design and Art in Pilsen with four junior diplomats, who just finished their traineeship at the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Czechia and started to work on the preparations of the Czech Presidency of the Council of the EU in 2022.

As part of the project, the students made a brochure to help deep understanding of the EU by explaining its history, institutions, roles, milestones, etc.
