Korean media covers the exhibition ‘Towards The Day After Today’

The Korean economic news media 'E-Daily' reported on the 'Towards The Day After Today' exhibition, held in cooperation with the Czech Center Seoul and KF Gallery.

Ambassador Gustav Slamečka said in an interview with E-Daily, "Czechia is a part of the European Union (EU), and the progress in Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) is one of the cornerstones of the EU policy," adding, "Czechia being a part of the EU is following the same path."

David Těšínský, the Czech artist who created the photo works for the first part of the exhibition, explained his works by saying, “I’ve been to 66 countries and my main theme is to capture social and environmental issues,” adding, “I used photography as a weapon and a tool to kill stereotypes and open (people’s) eyes.”

The coverage also includes footage from the artist talk held last Friday. Michal Emanovský, Director of the Czech Center Seoul, said, “We brought the Czech artist closer to the Korean audience to facilitate communication between Korea and Czechia.”
