Czech Embassy joined in celebrating linguistic diversity at the Day of European Languages event in Seoul

The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Seoul proudly joined the Day of European Languages event hosted by the Delegation of the European Union in Seoul. Held on October 12 at Mallidong Square, this annual event celebrated the rich linguistic and cultural diversity within Europe and emphasized the importance of language learning as a bridge to understanding and collaboration.
In collaboration with 19 member state embassies, the event offered various language activities and interactive experiences for visitors of all ages. At the Czech booth, attendees were welcomed to explore Czech language through engaging games, such as pexeso and Czech number bingo, which introduced Czech vocabulary and basic phrases in a lively, educational setting. These activities not only showcased the beauty and uniqueness of the Czech language but also fostered curiosity and awareness about Czech culture among participants.
The Day of European Languages event reflects the EU's commitment to promoting multilingualism and cultural exchange as vital components of global citizenship.
