Ambassador Slamečka introduced the role of the Czech Republic with the presidency of the Council of the European Union as well as this year's motto "Europe as a Task," originally addressed by Vaclav Havel in 1996. Furthermore, he talked about how the Czech Republic, one of the leading countries in manufacturing, is striving to go beyond and paving its new path toward clean mobility and growth in nuclear and renewable energy.
