Ambassador Gustav Slamečka held a lecture at Sejong Institute

On Oct. 6, Ambassador Gustav Slamečka and Deputy Head of the EU Delegation Fredrik Ekfeldt had a lecture on the Indo-Pacific Strategies by the Czech Republic and the European Union at Sejong Institute.
Sejong Institute is a think tank in South Korea promoting national and social development by providing deep and extensive analysis of the changing security environment and crafting viable policy alternatives. Ambassador Slamečka explained the role of Czechia as not just a country but as a country with the Presidency of the Council of the EU.
A total of 101 trainees -- 59 offline and 42 online -- joined the lecture. Even after the one-hour presentation, an active discussion about the Korea-Czechia and Korea-EU cooperation was held during the Q&A session.
