A valuable new textbook has been published to support Korean learners of the Czech language. With a focus on practical translation and interpretation, it aims to develop real-world language skills for intermediate-level students.
In May 2025, a new textbook titled Intermediate Czech Translation and Interpretation Practice was published in Korea, designed specifically for Korean learners of Czech. Tailored for intermediate students, the book features a wide range of practical exercises aimed at enhancing translation and interpretation abilities in real-life Czech-Korean communication contexts.
The textbook was written by faculty members of the Czech Studies Department at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (HUFS), drawing on years of teaching and professional experience. It is expected to become an important educational resource for cultivating Czech-speaking professionals in Korea.
The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Seoul has continuously supported Czech language education in Korea and deeply values the efforts of those contributing to deeper linguistic and cultural exchange between the two countries. We extend our sincere congratulations on the publication and heartfelt thanks to everyone involved in its creation.
