Speaker Markéta Pekarová Adamová meets Korean Prime Minister Han Duck-soo

Following the meeting with the Speaker of the Korean National Assembly Kim Jin-pyo on the morning of the 23rd, Speaker Markéta Pekarová Adamová had a meeting with the Korean Prime Minister Han Duck-soo.
Held at the Government Complex-Seoul, the meeting was an opportunity to exchange perspectives on bilateral relations, nuclear and hydrogen cooperation, and the 2030 Busan World Expo.
Speaker Adamová said, "We value our relations with the Republic of Korea, which shares common liberal and democratic values," adding, "We consider Korea as one of the most important economic partners, and we look forward to strengthening cooperation in many areas, including energy and health sector."
Welcoming the Czech Speaker of Parliament's first visit to Korea in six years, Prime Minister Han said, "We are expecting the resumption of the direct flights between Korea and Czechia to lead to vigorous people-to-people exchange."
He also explained the Korean government's will and vision to host the 2030 World Expo in Busan and requested active interest and support from the Czech side. The Czech delegation, comprising 40 political delegates and 50 economic delegates, also visited Busan during their visit to tour the facilities for the World Expo.
