The Embassy of Czechia in Seoul, on behalf of the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs, presented Medal For Merit in Diplomacy 2024 to Hyundai Motor Group Executive Chair Euisun Chung.
The ceremony took place at Hyundai Motor Company's headquarters in Yangjae, Seoul, and was attended by Ambassador Ivan Jančárek, 3rd Secretary Jakub Kopecký, and Hyundai Motor Group President Sung Kim and Vice President Il-bum Kim.
On behalf of Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavský, Ambassador Jančárek presented Mr. Chung with the Distinguished Contribution to Diplomacy Medal to recognize his contributions to bilateral partnership. “It is a great honor to present this medal on behalf of Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavský,” said the ambassador, ”I would like to congratulate Mr. Chung on his outstanding achievements and express my deepest gratitude.”
Hyundai Motor has been an important partner in Czechia for 17 years, contributing to both country's economic and industrial development. With the awarding of this medal, both sides pledged to continue to cooperate and develop a strong relationship in the future.
