The strategy under the full name "Strategy for a Free, Peaceful, and Prosperous Indo-Pacific Region" was introduced by a Foreign minister Park Jin to more than 50 diplomats.

Minister Park said: "Korea will work with every partner that is aligned with our vision and principles of cooperation". The strategy calls for a free Indo-Pacific that upholds international norms and rules-based order, as well as universal values on freedom, democracy and human rights.
