Sněmovní Výbor pro evropské záležitosti jednal s partnery na Maltě

Výbor pro evropské záležitosti Poslanecké sněmovny Parlamentu České republiky navštívil ve dnech 8. – 10. 12. Maltu, kde jednal se členy Parlamentu Malty a s představiteli Ministerstva zahraničních věcí a cestovního ruchu Malty, Agentury EU pro azyl a se starostou hlavního města Valletty.
Delegaci poslanců Parlamentu ČR vedl předseda Výboru pro evropské záležitosti Ondřej Benešík a doprovázel ji velvyslanec České republiky na Maltě Jan Kohout. Pracovní návštěvy Malty se účastnili tři poslanci Výboru pro evropské záležitosti: Jiří Carbol, Marie Pošarová a Vladimír Zlínský.
Čeští poslanci jednali se členy Výboru pro zahraniční věci a evropské záležitosti Parlamentu Malty. Na maltské straně vedl jednání předseda výboru Edward Zammit Lewis. Dále se delegace setkala s vrchním ředitelem sekce pro koordinaci evropských politik Leandrem Borgem.
Součástí pracovního programu byla návštěva v sídle Agentury EU pro azyl a přijetí výkonnou ředitelkou Ninou Gregoriovou. Na radnici hlavního města Valletty českou delegaci přijal starosta Olaf McKay. Delegace se také setkala s českými krajany žijícími na Maltě.

Parliament's Committee on European Affairs held talks with partners in Malta
The European Affairs Committee of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic visited Malta from 8 to 10 December, where it held talks with members of the Parliament of Malta and representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Tourism of Malta, the European Union Agency for Asylum (EUAA) and the Mayor of Valletta.
The delegation of Members of Parliament was led by the Chairman of the European Affairs Committee Ondřej Benešík and accompanied by the Czech Ambassador to Malta Jan Kohout. Three MPs of the European Affairs Committee, Jiří Carbol, Marie Pošarová and Vladimír Zlínský, took part in the working visit to Malta.
The Czech Delegation held talks with members of the Committee on Foreign and European Affairs of the Parliament of Malta. On the Maltese side, the meeting was chaired by Edward Zammit Lewis, Chairman of the Committee. The delegation also met with the Director General of the European Policy Coordination Section of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Tourism of Malta, Leandro Borg.
The working programme included a visit to the headquarters of the European Union Agency for Asylum (EUAA) and a meeting with the Executive Director, Nina Gregori. The Czech delegation met also Mayor of Valletta, Olaf McKay. The meeting with Czech compatriots living in Malta was also part of the programme of the visit.
