Schedule an Appointment - Long-term visa for seasonal works
SUBMISSION
Applicants submit their applications in person at the embassy. The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Riyadh is authorised to accept applications lodged by citizens of countries within its territorial jurisdiction —Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Oman, and Yemen; as well as by foreign nationals who hold a long‑term or permanent residence permit in one of the above‑mentioned countries and have resided there continuously for at least two years before submission. The list of nationalities that are exempt by law from this rule is provided here.
APPOINTMENT
The next registration for appointments for long-term visa for the purpose of seasonal works will take place, under the conditions set out below
on 22 October 2026 from 10 am till 4 pm of local time (KSA).
Based on the results of registration, appointments will be scheduled in the period of December 2026 - February 2027.
In case the number of registration emails to schedule an appointment for an in‑person submission exceeds the number of appointment slots available as per the capacity of the Consulate, the electronic system will assign an order— based on a random element —to registrations that have met criteria published below. Appointments will then be offered to the applicants according to the assigned order, until the capacity is exhausted.
METHOD AND CONDITIONS OF APPOINTMENT REGISTRATION
1. Send your request for an appointment at the above stated date and time to the following email address: riyadh.employment@mzv.gov.cz.* The request must be sent directly to the designated email address for registrations (i.e. the respective email address must not be stated only in the CC field of the sent email).
2. The subject of the email needs to state the passport number.
3.The content of the email must include the following:
- - name and surname of the applicant
- - number of seasonal work permit or the seasonal work permit application number
4. Obligatory attachments to be annexed to the email (in a pdf file, maximum 10 MB) are the following:
- - scan of ID page of the passport,
- - scan of the proof of purpose (seasonal employment contract),
- - in foreign residents - a scan of a valid residence permit in KSA/BHR/OMN/YEM.
5. Applicants who are not nationals of KSA/BHR/OMN/YEM need to prove (during the appointment) that they have been residing in the respective country based on a residence permit for at least 2 last years before the submission. If the applicant cannot prove the length of their stay, he or she needs to submit their application at the Czech embassy responsible for their home country.
6. 1 applicant = 1 email. Send only one email. Each email can include only one applicant. Due to the strong anti‑spam protection used by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, we recommend that each request (on behalf of each applicant) is sent from a separate email address.
7. Your email will be automatically processed by a system based on a random selection element.
8. The following emails will be excluded from the registration:
- emails related to other than seasonal type of employment (seasonal employment requires a special work permit and a long-term visa for seasonal employment can be issued for maximum 9 months),
- emails where the subject does not comply with item 2) above,
- emails not containing attachments as per item 4) above,
- emails attempting to register more than one applicant,**
- duplicate emails sent repeatedly by or in relation to one applicant,
- emails sent outside the registration period,
- emails with attachments exceeding 10MB.
9. Await the confirmation. The Embassy will inform you within 7 days if you have been granted an appointment.
10. If you have not been confirmed an appointment by the Embassy within 7 days from the registration date, it means your registration email has not been drawn or it has not complied with the registration conditions.
11. The attributed appointment date and time cannot be changed. If you do not appear for the submission in person at the Embassy at the given appointment, it is forfeited. If you arrive late for your appointment without excusing yourself in advance, your appointment is also forfeited.
The number of appointments for the respective period: 6
* The email address provided is intended solely for booking a submission of a visa application and is not used for general communication or answering questions.
** Applicants acknowledge that the mzv.gov.cz email domain is protected by advanced cybersecurity systems. Therefore, emails identified as spam (in the event that a larger number of emails are sent from a single email account) or potentially harmful, those exhibiting signs of automated mass distribution, originating from IP addresses or domains on security blacklists, or those failing to meet or exceeding the established security parameters of the domain, may be excluded from the registration process. The use of automated tools, bots, scripts, or any other software for mass distribution of registration emails will be classified as a cyber threat, and such emails will be excluded from registration.
