Within the Food Essential Direct Aid (FEDA) project, funded with CZK 3 million by the Department of Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Aid of the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Czechia provides food assistance to households in Taiz province. The project is implemented by ADRA Canada through financial transfers that enable families to secure essential food supplies according to their specific needs. During the first distribution cycle, assistance was delivered to 139 households, more than half of which were female‑headed, reflecting the high vulnerability of the local population.

Czechia thus continues to contribute to improved food security in one of the most affected regions of Yemen and supports people who continue to face the long‑term consequences of armed conflict.
