On Friday, 18 January 2019, Mr Petr Stary,  the Head of the Czech Representative office in Ramallah met with Mr Samir Hazboun, the Chairman of the Bethlehem Chamber of Commerce. Mr Hazboun, who also serves as an honorary consul of the Czech Republic, highlighted the possibility of cooperation between Czech and Palestinian companies. Mr Hazboun, also mentioned a number of companies, such as Beit Jala Pharmaceuticals, who are looking for partners in Europe. Mr Hazboun is ready to assist Czech exporters who are interested in exploring the business potential of the West Bank.
