President of the Chamber of Commerce Mr. Gërxhaliu highly appreciated the cooperation with the Czech company GEOtest in his introductory speech and he also thanked the Czech Republic for providing an extremely important and valuable start-up assistance to competitiveness of Kosovo small and medium-sized enterprises. Ambassador Šilhavý subsequently emphasized the potential of Kosovar companies that can be successfully established on the market thanks to the project, as well as the future cooperation with the Czech companies interested in the local or Western Balkan market.

The aim of the project is to improve the business situation in Kosovo and to increase the growth potential of small and medium-sized enterprises, in particular by sharing experience in developing business plans. The GEOtest representative handed a handbook for business plans over to the representatives of the Kosovo Chamber of Commerce. The handbook will be transformed into a web-based online tool which is supposed to help Kosovo businessmen to create their own business plans. Another part of the project will also be a professional seminar for Kosovo entrepreneurs who will get familiar with the methodology in creating modern business plans and in using the Internet version of them during the above mentioned event.
