Wastewater Treatment Plant Badovac - works of the sewerage network started

At the beginning of April 2017 the construction works of the sewerage network started. It will bring the wastewater from the village of Mramor to the already completed Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) on Badovac Lake. The WWTP was built as a project in the framework of the Czech Development Agency.

On March 30, 2017 the contract between the Kosovar construction company “Muratori” and the Municipality of Pristina (the guarantor of the construction of the sewerage) was signed. The company started the construction works the following week. The first "on-the-spot check" was carried out on April 6, 2017 and it was attended by the representative of the Czech Embassy in Pristina, by the owner of the Muratori company, by the manager of the Project Plus company (construction of the WWTP) and by the representatives of the Pristina Municipality. The company laid two connection pipes to the nearby houses during the first days and the construction of the main sewerage pipeline was started. Until April 12, 2017 hundreds of meters of the main sewerage pipelines were laid and it is obvious that the construction works have been in progress. According to the so-called Dynamic Plan, the sewerage network with a total length of about 8.5 km should be completed within 90 days.
