Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Petr Drulak visited Kosovo

On June 3rd and 4th, 2015 Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Prof. Petr Drulak visited Kosovo. During the visit Deputy Minister Drulak met both Kosovo representatives and leaders of international missions in the country.
First day of the visit consultations with Minister for European integration Bekim Çollaku were held, with the main focus on bilateral relations and current political issues. Latest political developments in Kosovo and the dialogue between Pristina and Belgrade Deputy Minister Drulak discussed with the Head of the Foreign Committee of the Kosovo Assembly Enver Hoxhaj. Later, at the University of Business and Technology Deputy Minister Drulak gave a lecture on „Central Europe and the Western Balkans in European Politics“, the lecture was attended by a 100 of students. During the first day of the visit Deputy Minister Drulak also met Gabriele Meucci, Head of the EULEX Mission, and after that Father Sava, Archdeacon of Dečani Monastery, who acquainted Deputy Minister Drulak with his perception of hot political topics in Kosovo. In Mitrovica Deputy Minister visited Czech members of the EULEX Contingent, serving within the Supplementary Police Unit.
On June 4th there was a meeting with former President Fatmir Sejdiu. Deputy Minister Drulak concluded his visit with an exchange of views with Farid Zarif, UN Special Representative of Secretary General. Inter alia Farid Zarif informed Deputy Minister Drulak about the current role of the UN mission in Kosovo.
