At the beginning of the program, they met the Mayor of Podujevo, Shpejtim Bulliq, who introduced them to the development of the municipality and plans in the field of infrastructure development, investment support, environmental protection and education. 
During the day, they visited a prison, the construction of which was jointly financed by the EU and the Kosovo government. The prison is a part of the support to the Kosovo Correctional Service, which the EULEX mission fulfills in Kosovo. Minister of Justice Albulena Haxhiu also participated in the visit to the prison together with Ambassadors and Heads of EU missions.
