
Videoconference with the Rector of Haxhi Zeka University in Peja

The Head of the Czech Embassy in Kosovo, Pavel Bílek, met on February 22 with the highest representatives of Haxhi Zeka University in Peja. The University of Peja is the second largest public university in Kosovo
The Head of the Embassy discussed with Rector Fadil Millaku and Vice-Rector for International Cooperation Ibish Mazreku via video conference. Representatives of Haxhi Zeka University introduced him to the history, organization and study programs. At the same time, they informed about their interest in expanding relations and cooperation with universities in European countries, including the Czech Republic. The aim of such cooperation is to strengthen students’ mobility and gain experience and knowledge from studying in European countries.
During the videoconference, the Head of the Embassy, Pavel Bílek, emphasized that the Czech universities have extensive experience in international cooperation and in admitting students from abroad. In recent years, a number of Kosovo students have also studied in the Czech Republic as a part of various programs. Czech universities are active participants in cooperation within the European ERASMUS + program, which also provides opportunities for establishing relations between universities in the Czech Republic and Kosovo.
