On December 9, 2015 an extraordinary meeting of the EU Heads of Mission took place under a chairmanship of EUSR Samuel Žbogar. The Prime Minister Isa Mustafa and Minister for European Affairs Bekim Çollaku were the main guests.
In their presentations, they underlined the necessity of visa liberalization for Kosovo which is being left as the only country of Western Balkans with a visa duty for traveling to the EU. Minister Çollaku stated that Kosovo fulfilled all the criteria and further denying visa liberalization is being considered as discrimination by the EU and its member states. The Prime Minister Mustafa underlined that artificial delay of granting visa liberalization to Kosovo is not only deepening frustration of Kosovo citizens but it can lead even to radicalization of some Kosovars.
