Czech humanitarian in-kind assistance to Kosovo for the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic

On 15 December 2020, a material humanitarian assistance in the form of 30,000 pieces of respirators, 30,000 pairs of vinyl gloves, 10,000 pairs of shoe covers and 5,000 pieces of protective clothing was delivered to Pristina by an air special of the Czech Army, all worth almost 193,000 euros.
At Pristina International Airport “Adem Jashari”, Deputy Head of the Czech Embassy, Juraj Melioris, handed over the Czech assistance to Kosovo Deputy Minister of Health, Luan Gola who expressed gratitude of the Kosovo Government to the Czech Republic. Juraj Melioris mentioned the current positively developing bilateral Czech-Kosovo cooperation, especially in the economic field, as well as in the field of development cooperation and in other areas.
