Applications for the 17th European Summer School in Prague

EUROPEUM, the Institute for European Policy, is organizing the 17th European Summer School in Prague this year. EUROPEUM is a Prague think tank focused on the issues of European integration. The current European Summer School will take place from 13 to 20 July 2019. Its program focuses on current events and challenges the European Union is facing, including reform processes and the position of Central European countries.

The European Summer School is organized under the auspices of the Representation of the European Commission in the Czech Republic, in cooperation with Prague College and with the Faculty of Social Sciences of Charles University in Prague. The European Summer School in Prague is an excellent educational program and experience for university students from all over the world in one of Europe's most beautiful cities. The 17th edition of this summer school is entitled "Restarting Europe: The Central European Perspective". The lectures will focus on topics such as EU reform/restart, EU foreign policy, migration, competitiveness, Central Europe and V4. Among the lecturers who will present lectures at the ESS this year are the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Aleš Chmelař, Czech Ambassador to the EU Jakub Dürr, and Magdaléna Vášáryová.
