The Governor of the Central Bank of Kosovo, Mr. Ahmet Ismaili, informed Ambassador Bohumil Mazánek during the meeting about the developments and reforms in the Kosovo financial sector and emphasized the stability and security of the Kosovo banking system. Governor Ismaili acquainted the Czech Ambassador with the organizational structure, functioning and mandate of the Central Bank of Kosovo and underlined that the CBK is an independent institution that meets the highest EU standards. Governor Ismaili also expressed his gratitude for the long-term support of Kosovo from the Czech Republic, and expressed his interest in establishing closer cooperation with Czech partners.
