
Award Ceremony from the International Children’s Art Exhibition Lidice 2024 for a young kosovar artist

On June 16, 2025, the Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Kosovo, Mr. Bohumil Mazánek, presented an honorary diploma to the young Kosovar student and painter Rajana Hasani for her artwork included in the 52nd edition of the International Children’s Art Exhibition “Lidice 2024.”
A total of 12,946 young artists from 81 countries around the world participated in the Lidice art competition, with the expert jury awarding 1,343 prizes. The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Pristina is proud that a Kosovar student was among the award recipients.
The author of the painting “Karavan”, Rajana Hasani, from the “2SHMU” school in Vushtrri, received the honorary diploma from Ambassador B. Mazánek in the presence of her father, teacher of art, school principal and a representative from the Department of Education of the Municipality of Vushtrri.
The participation, including the awarding of the prize to the young artist, reflects the continued interest of Kosovar students in cultural and artistic exchange with the Czech Republic incl. Lidice art competition.
The school principal expressed pride in his students' achievements and was very pleased with their enthusiasm for creative art activities.
