Anna Sykova, The Embassy’s Consul, handed over the Consular Commission to Mr. Cruz on May 7, 2018, during a gala dinner which was organized by the Embassy on the occasion of a visit by a delegation from the Ministry of Agriculture (under the direction of the Director of the Foreign Trade Coordination Department Jiří Šír) and also on the opening of the Honorary Consulate in Luanda.

The ceremony was attended by Consul of the Embassy A. Syková, and Economic Diplomat K. Chvátalová, as well as the delegation of the Ministry of Agriculture, Head of EU Delegation T. Uličný and his deputy J. Fisher. Also in attendance were Czech and Angolan entrepreneurs as well as a group of former Angolan students who studied in the Czech Republic and several compatriots.
