Tuk-tuks bearing the posters promoting activities in Water and Sanitation, Health and Technical Education will be riding through Phnom Penh for the period of two months.

In Cambodia, the Czech Republic is active especially in the area of enhancing human capital in the form of technical education for young people. Due to improved skills in practical areas needed on the Cambodian job market, young people are better qualified to find a decent job.

Capacity building and mutual consultations between the Czech and Cambodian experts are also an essential part of activities in Health sector, where the Czech Republic assists to improve the access to healthcare for mothers and children – especially newborns, and in Water and Sanitation sector, where the activities are focused on providing drinking water to people in rural areas, sanitation and effective and environmentally friendly technologies for waste water treatment.
