The mission will be held between May 8 and May 12, 2016 and will be led by Martin Puta the Regional Chair/Governor of Liberec. He will be accompanied by several representatives of the Technical University of Liberec including professor Zdenek Kus, Petr Lenfeld the Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Karel Frana, Vice-Dean from the same faculty. Also in attendance will be Jiri Vaclavik, the Director of the Sales and Research Institute of Textile Engineering and Technology from Liberec.               

This mission continues to build on the technical mission that was held in September 2011. It´s a continuation of the initial mission, and it is championed by the economic advisor Josef Dvoracek and engineering professor Tony Martinek  M.A.Sc., president of Martinek & Associates, Ing., and past professor of Conestoga Polytechnic College and Advance Learning.

There will be presentations about the economic regions of Liberec and Waterloo. There will also be academic meetings at the University of Waterloo and Conestoga College Institute. The Regional Chair/Governor of Liberec Martin Punta will meet his counterpart Regional Chair Ken Seiling and the Mayors of Waterloo and Kitchener Dave Jaworsky and Berry Vrbanovic. While in Kitchener the delegation will meet with representatives from the Czech community.
