Czech film "Tales from the Magic Garden" at the Ottawa International Animation Festival

The screening of the Czech film "Tales from the Magic Garden" (Pohádky po babičce) will take place on Thursday, September 25th at 5:00 PM at the ByTowne Cinema and on Saturday, September 27th at 11:00 AM at the Ottawa Art Gallery.
The Ottawa International Animation Festival (OIAF) is one of the world’s leading animation events providing screenings, workshops and entertainment since 1976. OIAF is an annual five-day event bringing art and industry together in a vibrant hub, attracting artists, producers, students and animation fans from around the world.
This year’s festival will run from September 24 until September 28 and screening venues are ByTowne Cinema and Ottawa Art Gallery - Alma Duncan Salon.
One of the main titles of the program will be the Czech puppet animated film " Tales from the Magic Garden" (Pohádky po babičce), inspired by the book by Arnošt Goldflam about siblings discovering the magic of storytelling and fantasy. The fil was directed by David Súkup, Patrik Pašš, Leon Vidmar & Jean-Claude Rozec and co-produced with France, Slovakia and Slovenia) and will be screened in Czech with English subtitles:
on Thursday September 25 at 5:00 pm at ByTowne Cinema, and
on Saturday September 27 at 11:00 am at Ottawa Art Gallery.
