Small Local Development Project in Nepal in 2016

Venue: NepalThe Czech Government supported one small local development project in Nepal in 2016. The project called "Increasing Income of Marginalized and Vulnerable Muslim Women and Girls for their Empowerment" was realized by Nepal Muslim Women Welfare Society.
The Czech Government subsidied the project by 234,096.00 CZK.
This project facilitated marginalized muslim women and girls to organize into groups and initiated income generating activities.
In the framework of the project 30 women, trained in organic farming, were engaged in commercial organic vegetable farming practices.
Other 30 women and girls received bangle making training and started local enterprises on bangle.
