Czech Parliamentarians in India

Date: 24 April 2016 - 01 May 2016, Venue: Delhi, Chandigarh, Guraspur, Amritsar, Srinagar, Jammu

Delegation of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Chamber of Deputies of Parliament of the Czech Republic, led by the its chairman Mr. Karel Schwarzenberg, visited India from 24 to 29 April 2016. The delegation met a number of top politicians, prominent businessmen, NGO representatives and top universities  in Haryana, Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir, in Chandigarh and New Delhi.

During the working trip our delegation visited the Indian States of India ,the aim was to use parliamentary diplomacy to promote visualization of the Czech Republic in the cited countries, familiarity with local current political, economic and social situation, support specific business projects implemented by Czech firms and expressing interest in the development of relations in areas that are under negotiation with a welcoming point of views of both side.

During the meeting with State Minister for External Affairs of India H.E Mr. Vijay Kumar Singh and  were discussed topical issues of relations between the two countries.

During the meeting at CII NR Headquarters, Chandigrah with the Chairman, Dr. Dinesh Dua along with H.E. Mr. Karel Schwarzenberg and Milan Hovarka , Ambassador of the Czech Republic

K. Schwarzenberg - K. S. Solanki

The Governor Kaptan Singh Solanki, who is the highest representative of both Punjab and Haryana states and the Federal Territory Chandigarh received Czech delegation in Chandigarh . On this admission was attended by the President of the Legislative Assembly of the State of Haryana Kanwal Pal Gujjar.

 

Zetor

The delegation also visited Chandigarh representative of Zetor.
