During the wonderful evening guests enjoyed the unique fashion show of the Czech designer Iva Pfeiffer, the Musical Academy of Prague under the guidance of Director Pavla Zumrova presented compelling songs and dance performances and the virtuoso of mastered tones, the famous Slovak jazz singer Ester Wiesner.
 

At the beginning of the Reception, the India, Czech and Slovak national anthems were sung together in Hindi, Czech and Slovak and symbolizing the uplifting message of friendship of three nations.

The two Ambassadors who reminded the circumstances of the rise of Czechoslovakia, emphasized the extraordinary nature of the friendly relations between the Czechs and the Slovaks, as well as the interest of the two countries to develop relations with India.

A special publication "Czech & Slovakia" on the occasion of the centenary.

An exhibition of works of the Czech and Slovak literature, translated and published in Hindi, was also displayed at the Reception.

The chief guest on the occasion was the Minister of State for Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises Babul Supriyo. He congratulated to both the Ambassadors and expressed his gratitude.

Both hosts were also pleased with the presence of the Vice-Presiden of the European Commission Andrus Ansip who had been in Delhi on a working visit.
