
India visited by Director of the Czech Diplomatic Academy

Director of the Diplomatic Academy and the Department of Training from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic and the former Ambassador to Cyprus and the United Arab Emirates Dr. Věra Jeřábková, CSc. paid a visit to India from July 31st to August 2nd, 2019. During the program in Delhi, she met with representatives of the most important public institutions with activities corresponding to the visit portfolio. During the whole program, Director V. Jeřábková, was accompanied by H.E. Milan Hovorka, Ambassador of the Czech Republic to India.
During her brief but fruitful visit, Director V. Jeřábková attended a number of meetings with prominent government officials in India, Czech companies operating in India or representatives of the University of Delhi. Among the most appreciated visits belonged the one at the Foreign Service Institute under the Ministry of External Affairs of India, where the Director, accompanied by the Ambassador, met her counterpart, Dean J. S. Mukul, to discuss topics related to the mutual cooperation of both institutions. However, in the busy work program was also found a moment to visit the Indira Ghandi Memorial Museum and honor the memory of this prominent Indian woman political leader.
