Czech and Indian Foreign Ministers Met in New York

Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic Mr. Tomas Petricek had a productive meeting with External Affairs Minister, Government of India, Dr. Subrahmanyam Jaishankar in New York on Wednesday, September 25, 2019.
Czech Minister Tomas Petricek invited Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar to visit the Czech Republic. They both could inaugurate Forum of Central Europe and India which is planned for May 2020 in the Czernin Palace in Prague.
Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar has a close relationship to the Czech Republic. He served as Ambassador of India to the Czech Republic for four years. During the meeting in New York held on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly, Minister Jaishankar said he likes reminiscing about that period of his life when he was Ambassador of India to Prague.
