Call for Research Projects with Czechia

Science and research are again at the forefront of Czech-Indian relations. The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic will support joint projects of Czech researchers with India, while the Indian Department of Science and Technology starts to support Indian researchers in collaboration with Czech centers of Excellence. The call is open to research organizations from March 18, 2019 to July 31, 2019. The expected length of implementation is 3 years. The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Delhi highlights the huge potential of cooperation with Czech researchers and at the same time offers assistance with finding a suitable partner for collaboration in the Czech Republic.
Czech Republic represents a country with extremely developed science and research infrastructure. We are also famous for success in many sectors – from the cell theory, principal laws of heredity, pioneering in psychoanalysis to anti-AIDS treatment developed by team of Prof. Holý. Czech Republic at the same time offers exceptionally welcoming environment for Indian researchers with brand new centers of Excellence, research Institutes or prestigious academia.
The call for joint projects between the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic and the Ministry of Science and Technology of India is focused on:
a) Information and communication technologies;
b) Natural sciences and biotechnology;
c) New materials and nanotechnology;
d) Medical sciences (including pharmaceutical sciences) and food safety;
e) Research of climate change, environment and energy
The beneficiaries of the project shall be research institutions based in the Czech Republic or India whose project will correspond to the above mentioned areas. The standard project time is 3 years. For more information, visit the website of the Department of Science and Technology
