The participation of the Czech Republic at the MICE tourism fair EPEX was secured thanks to the Project for support of Economic Diplomacy, the so-called PROPED No. C36154-001 and the financial contribution of the Ministry for Regional Development of the Czech Republic. Companies such as Asiana and 2. DSP, s.r.o. (operating chain of hotels like Occidental or Barceló), were given space for interactions with their Indian partners. but also many others through the destination presentation of the Czech Tourist Authority -  CzechTourism. Within the B2B slots with individual Indian buyers, they had the opportunity to present themselves virtually and, after a long time, refresh their often broken business contacts. EPEX meetings took place virtually on September 29 and 30, 2021.

The on-site support was also provided by the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Delhi, when it organized a limited, yet full-fledged, dinner hosted by the Ambassador of the Czech Republic to India, Mr. Milan Hovorka, on the sidelines of the EPEX trade fair. It was attended by over a dozen high-ranking tourism representatives, who had the opportunity to learn from the ambassador that “we are extremely pleased with the restart of international tourism, albeit in a limited way so far. We would also like to believe in the general positivism associated with the resumption of travel, although it is clear to all of us that the resumption of full-fledged international travel as we knew it before the coronavirus pandemic will take some time. "

 
The cautious positivism was also confirmed by the present representatives of travel agencies, airlines and other tourism entities. However, they all expressed the hope that the next wave will no longer reach such proportions and that it will be possible to manage it much better with the help of past experience and vaccination.
