Small Local Project in Bangladesh in 2016

Venue: DhakaCzech Republic supported one small local development project in Bangladesh in 2016. The project called "Chalantika Education and Training Center: Transforming Lives of Vulnerable Children and Mothers in Chalantika Slum" was realized by ADRA Bangladesh.
The project was supported by 303,543.00 CZK.
In the framework of this project educational and teaching materials and school uniforms have been bought, health care guaranteed and hot meals served for 80 children, who then were able to stay in school.
Chalantika Slum Children Development Project (CSCDP) has been contributing to changing lives of people in one of the largest slums in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. This project was supported by the Czech Government already in 2014 and 2015.
The project is focused on improving health of children and reducing drop-outs from school.
